Unhealthy habits: 5 tips to stop stuffing yourself
Always feel like eating and are you sometimes still hungry, even after you’ve just eaten? Don’t worry, you are definitely not the only one! We’ve put together a few tips for you that can make your sense of eating go away.
Drink enough water
You may recognize it: you feel that you are hungry, but if you drink water, this feeling of hunger is gone. We often think we are hungry, but in reality we are just thirsty. Our bodies fool us every now and then, so don’t fall for this! If you are often hungry, try drinking a glass of water first. You will notice that your feeling of hunger decreases afterwards!
Eat at set times
When you eat at set times, your body learns to ask for food at those times. As a result, you will also snack less in between, because your body gets used to getting food at those moments. Your feeling of hunger decreases during the day, so you will feel less craving for snacks. That’s how we like it!
Eat enough protein
Protein makes you feel full. Eating too little protein can make you hungry. So make sure you get enough protein, because this will reduce your feeling of hunger! Tip: our healthy protein-rich shakes
Go to sleep on time
Getting enough sleep is good for many things, but it also ensures that you have less appetite for sweet and tasty snacks during the day. When you don’t sleep much, you get a lot of appetite for snacks and you feel hungry more quickly. So, crawl into your bed on time!
Healthy snacks are a must
Do you fancy a snack? Then try to choose a healthy snack. For example, go for fruit or a handful of nuts. These are healthy snacks that will satisfy your appetite! Tip: our super nice organic vegan bars are a healthy option!
