Red beet & Berry Protein Shake
The secret in this shake? Red beets! For hundreds of years already beets are eaten for their health benefits. They are said to support, among others, your cardiovascular health, digestion, and your stamina for your athletic achievements. You can use both raw or boiled beets in this shake. By using raw beets you will keep all their nutrients, but the boiled ones make a smoother consistency. The choice is up to you! Blending this shake will only take you 5 minutes. Ingredients for 1 serving:

- 50 g frozen cherries
- 50 g frozen strawberries
- 50 g frozen blueberries
- 50 g chopped red beets
- ½ banana
- 250 ml water
- 1 tablespoon flaxseed
